Golf Training: Video

Troubleshooting the Slice (1998)

The vast majority of amateur and intermediate golfers today have problems keeping the ball on the fairway. Ask any teaching professional and they will all agree that approximately eighty to ninety percent of amateur golfers have problems slicing the ball on impact. For the amateur golfer nothing can be more frustrating than to see your ball fade off to the right and into the trees. And what's worst, the golfer has little or no idea what he or she is doing to cause this problem.

Many golf books and tapes offer solutions to the problems of slicing the ball, however, the golf language used to explain the solution to the problems can be as confusing as the problem itself. Another problem with many of today's golf instructional books and video tapes is that they simply assume the viewer can achieve the correct mechanics necessary for the sound golf swing. But any golfer knows the real challenge lies in synchronizing your brain's knowledge of the proper mechanics with how your body executes the information.

In this easy to follow video, Scott Balderson will help the golfer achieve the mechanics needed to execute the proper golf swing. Identify and isolate the common mistakes experienced by many slicers. With a series of tips and drills, Balderson helps you feel the correct movements without the complex explanations and terminology normally associated with golf instructions. Muscle memory is the key to learning, and in this video Balderson helps the amateur achieve a rock solid golf swing through the use of physical teaching techniques.
